The tour starts from the waterfront (the Greeting to The Sun monument is the meeting point for this walking tour). Right next to the Greeting to the Sun monument is another popular city attraction - The Sea Organ, an urban installation which produces music by the help of sea waves. Then, the customers strolls along the waterfront and reach the area of the roman Forum. Forum was the main city square during the Roman times. There, they will also see the Church of St. Donatus dating from the 9th cent. After that, they come to the Cathedral of St. Anastasia. Once they visit the Cathedral, they continue walking down the famous Kalelarga Street - a popular city promenade, the main street in the Old Town. This street leads them to the People's Square (the main city square today) and they finally reach the Five Wells Square in the eastern part of the Old Town, which marks the end of this walking tour.

Find yourself in the heart of this magnificent Old Town of Zadar. A walking tour includes a visit to the Cathedral of St. Anastasia, the finest example of Romanesque architecture in Zadar which has a notable W front of 1324. It is dedicated to St. Anastasia, whose stone sarchophagus is in the apse to the left of the high altar. Further on your way you will pass close to the Church of St. Donatus which is believed to have been built by the Bishop Donatus on Roman foundations in the beginning of the 9th century. This is most monumental church on the East side of the Adriatic, it is circular in plan, with three naves. To the eastern of the Forum we come to the 16th c. St. Mary church with a romanesque bell-tower built at the beginning of the 12th c. by the Hungarian – Croatian king Koloman.
