Starting from The Land Gate (once the only entrance by land) we will cross The Square of 5 Wells to get to Kalelarga (the main street since Roman times). It will take us into the very heart of the town where we will stand facing the unique St. Donat Church (renowned for its acoustics) and Romanesque style Cathedral of ST. Anastasia.
To bring you back to the present time, we will finish the tour by the Sea Organ.
I suggest visiting the Permanent Exhibition of Church Arts (also known as ‘Gold and Silver of Zadar’) in a Benedictine Convent. It is truly breathtaking. The Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Roman Glass are also interesting.
