Our walk will include visits to the Cathedral of St. Mark which is probably the best proof of the artistry of the famous stone masons of Korcula and the excellent stone of the island which has been used in buildings all over the world.
A visit to the Bishop's Palace reveals the hidden treasures of the town (sketches and drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Tiepolo, and many others). The town of Korcula is also known as the birthplace of Marco Polo whose alleged birth house can be seen from the outside.
