Zrmanja's perfectly clear warm water, spectacular canyon with magnificent waterfall and unique fauna puts her among the most beautiful rivers in Europe. It's easy and safe enough for beginner canoeists. You will see many fish and birds and explore living travertin waterfalls. The trip begins in Kastel Zegarski, only one hour drive from Zadar. After first hour of paddling down easy rapids you will visit beautiful Krupa waterfalls and swim under them. More waterfalls and rapids wait for you as you continue down Zrmanja to Muskovci where the trip ends.
Canoe safari equipment: Helmet, lifejacket and neoprene pants.
What to Bring: Footwear such as joggers (to wear into the river), a swimming suit, a towel, a hat, sunscreen, clothes to change afterwards, water and snacks.
