Šolta - The Honey Island Tour

A glorious day of unspoiled nature and timeless island traditions awaits you. Experience island herbs, the taste
of olive oil, lemons, honey, wine and other island specialties.

Your hosts, the Tvrdić family, third generation beekeepers will show you their bee keeping farm and you will able
to learn everything about the fascinating life of bees and the Mediterranean lifestyle. You’ll have the opportunity to
see the bees in a glass beehive and to learn how the honey is made. During the honey presentation, you will enjoy
the taste of different honey products, a refreshing honey drink and home-made honey cookie.

Afterwards you will be taken to educational tour thru vineyards and olive grows to finish it will domestic vine and
food well known on this island.

Itinerary:
- pick up at Rogač with the jeep, where people dress up and get ready for the bee farm
- dressing and preparing for apiary
- extracting honey from the hive
- spinning honey (each guest gets a jar of 250gr "my honey")
- presentation of other bee products
- dinner
- back in port

Price includes:
Transfer, sightseeing bee farm with expert guidance, extracting honey, welcome drink

Dinner:
- Marine cheese from sea and anchovy fillet or fish pate
- Fish cooked in wine or fried chicken marinated in honey and rosemary with salad
- Cake or flan or seasonal fruit with ice cream (figs, grapes)
